JOB SUMMARY: Reynolds Systems Inc. (RSI) is a small high-tech business that focuses on the manufacturing of micro-electronic components in support of the aerospace and defense industries. RSI is looking for a production technician to work within our Production department to aid in the manufacturing of these devices. This is a hands-on position that requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and problem solving skills. The manufacturing technician will report to the Production Supervisor and will work with engineers, technicians, quality control and administrative staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

• Use of pneumatic equipment to produce parts.

• Use inspection and test equipment including analytical scales, microscopes, calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc. RSI will provide training on proper use of equipment.

• Assemble and inspect finished product to ensure high quality and on time delivery.

• Start, operate, tend, stop, and clean machinery.

• Be responsible, courteous and efficient at all times.

• Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• High School Diploma

• Must be a US Citizen and meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

• Ability to communicate effectively with others in both verbal and written communication.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.

• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Basic computer skills required. Knowledge of Excel preferred. The successful candidate will regularly input data into a spreadsheet.
